4. Definitions

  • SIPP: Safety, Inspection, and Preventive Practices
  • Inspection: Routine checks of equipment, facilities, and processes
  • Preventive Measures: Actions taken to eliminate or reduce risks before incidents occur

5. Roles and Responsibilities

Management

  • Ensure implementation of SIPP standards
  • Provide necessary resources and training
  • Enforce compliance with safety regulations

Supervisors

  • Conduct regular inspections
  • Report hazards and ensure corrective actions
  • Monitor employee adherence to safety procedures

Employees

  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
  • Report unsafe conditions immediately
  • Participate in training and safety programs

6. Safety Guidelines

  • Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times
  • Follow approved operational procedures
  • Do not operate unsafe or defective equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas

7. Inspection Procedures

  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inspections
  • Document all inspection findings
  • Immediately address critical safety issues
  • Maintain records for audit and compliance purposes

8. Preventive Practices

  • Identify risks through regular hazard assessments
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Schedule routine maintenance of equipment

9. Incident Reporting

  • All incidents, near-misses, and hazards must be reported immediately
